Giving Thanks

I hope that everyone had a truly blessed Thanksgiving.  This Thanksgiving we had the joy and pleasure of all our children and grandchildren at our house lounging around and watching the Thanksgiving parade together.  The house was a buzz with chatter and laughter.  A special moment came when our second grade granddaughter read her writing about what she was thankful.  Her sweet list of the people in her life and why she was thankful for them melted our hearts.  Later we were off with our specially prepared dishes to join other family members for the Big Meal.  We returned home full, of food and new family memories.  The people in my life are always first on my list of Thanks.  So that would include you, my readers too.

I would love to hear some of your favorite family traditions for the holidays.  I just found out about the cutest tradition that my cousins have where they take a stair-step picture of the family members present at Thanksgiving.  Such a great idea to document changes over the years.
