Great Wedding Gifts and More At Picket Fence Interiors & Gifts

One of my favorite places to shop for gifts now has a second location. How great is that?  Joan Schalesky is the owner of Picket Fence Interiors and Gifts and after a few minutes of conversation with her you will feel like she has been a long time friend.  She describes her store as having trend driven gifts and decorative accessories.  She is very passionate about the lines she carries and loves to share the stories of these amazing companies.  Many of the lines she carries are made right here in the ole U.S.A.  Her second location is housed in the new Brightside Gallery on Worth St. in downtown Asheboro.  Here is a little of what you can expect to see.

This Beatriz Ball Metalware is made by hand and is gorgeous.  Made from 100% recycled aluminum that will never tarnish.  Believe it or not, you can bake, chill, and serve in this product.  Now I like that, easy, beautiful, and practical.  The packaging even looks beautiful.  You can just add a bow.  I know a spring bride that is going to get a piece of this.  I also believe someone who just celebrated her 30th wedding anniversary wants a piece of this too.  I do believe I deserve it even though living with my man is easy.

As you can see they come in a variety of sizes and shapes to meet any entertaining needs.

Equally beautiful are the wood products by John Mcleod.  I think these make perfect gifts because it is the kind of thing I would love to have but do not buy for myself.  The carving board below reminds me of the one my mother had and used every holiday.  It has properly been handed down to my oldest sister who has taken the reins of preparing the turkey for family gatherings.  We are in great hands.

It is no secret that I am in love with glass and this glass by Blenko Handcraft is stunning.  I can just invasion this vase full of blooms.

Dress up your beverage station with this beautiful blue pitcher.  I imagine anything could taste great poured from this one.

Love this!  It is like water standing still.  Nothing like hand blown glass.  This one would be great for those long stemmed blooms.

The original location of Picket Fence Interiors and gifts is in a shopping center at 323 NC HWY 49 South, Asheboro NC.  I promise to do another post to feature what is offered there.  You will see some of the same and so much more.  You will want to check out the unique pocketbooks and jewelry.  I have done my fair share of shopping there.  From gifts for bridesmaids to gifts for my mom and sisters to Christmas decorations for me.
