Fall High Point Furniture Market Is Finally Here

Time to feed my visual addiction.  For me furniture market is like a big treasure hunt.  My intention is to  seek out the most awe inspiring items that my customers and I will love. This market I decided to take a more organized approach to my searching with a list of must go to places.  However, primal hunting and gathering instincts took over and I was afraid I would miss some unheard of wonder just around the corner.  Of course the result of that was a lot of walking but also new finds from companies that were new to me. Eventually I would get back on track with my list, at least for a little while, and then I would be off track again.  Obviously I love color so expect to see plenty of colorful things along the way.  Let's start with clever things for the wall.

Mitchell Black

When you enter this space at market you just want to take home the wall.  Mitchell Black has and extensive collection of prints which are available in 17 colors and various seizes. The prints are uniquely displayed between two sheets of acrylic and float off the wall. There are diverse options of subject matter to choose from.

This clear mat format allows artwork to complement any wall no matter the color.  These were actually quite sophisticated and would definitely make a statement.  They also offer tabletop and paper products.  You are guaranteed to see more products from them in the future.

Nine 6 Magnetic Sketch Wall

Next up on the list is Magnetic Sketch Wall.  This is a line that really gets your head thinking about all the possible applications.  Wouldn't a big ole wall of these be great in a school or favorite teen hangout. And don't forget about us adults.  Brainstorming is sure to be more fun when you add a little color.  Bring on the creativity.

As the company states this product is great for any room requiring a fun, colorful, creative work surface. They come in three basic shapes: hexagon, rectangle/square, and triangle. These come in a variety of colors and customization is an option.  Hanging is a cinch with the included hanger cleat and mounting hardware.

Their table skins are a versatile product designed to provide an easy solution for renovating dingy outdated table surfaces.  These tops are simply overlaid and installed on the existing table top.  This powder-coated steel overlay gives a modern look with a non-porous food safe surface.  

Art Addiction

Art Addiction is certainly not a new line.  I was aware of the line and have seen it in print but had not seen it in person until now.  It does not disappoint.  These were truly stunning.
