Nothing like a trip to Home Goods to get me back to blogging. I have had a few weeks of wonderful busy times with family and friends and am now hoping to get back into the swing of things.   One of my focuses is to share local finds for my readers close to home in central NC.   In addition you will see "Out and About" posts on shopping and enrichment activities that will take you to other places.  And as always I will have lots of posts that anyone can relate to no matter what city, state or country you live in.  After all it's really just a small world.  Hopefully you will check back often to be inspired and encouraged to add a little color to your life.

Pillows Galore

I get so excited over pillows.  I'm not really sure what it is but since I know I can't have them all I feel a need to find homes for them.  They have just restocked and have a great selection.   I hesitated on some pillows a while back and they were gone the next day.   Funny, I still hope to find them every time I go in.

Silver adds a nice touch to the cream and green patterned bolster.  Shown with aqua sparkle pillow and round aqua/navy/white combo pillow.

Laundry Luxuries

Ok laundry excitement is not really in my DNA but I know some of you that will get all excited about this laundry cuteness.  Actually "Back to School" is a great time to shop because stores stock up for those that are college bound.  Here it goes.

Fresh new laundry basket options in bold dots and stripes. Love love love the navy with white polka dots and the bright read lining and handles.  Maybe I could get excited about building a laundry room redo over this one.  See laundry can be fun.

Duffle bag style options.  Sometimes you have to spell it out for them in words and pictures.

A more formal style. I am thinking for those empty nesters that have a little less laundry.

And for those really small loads of laundry.  I'm thinking hand washables maybe.
